Mneme, Jupiter XL
Mneme was one of the three original Boeotian muses, along with her sisters Aoede and Melete, who were the inspirational goddesses of literature, science, and the arts. They were considered the source of the knowledge embodied in the poetry, lyric songs, and myths that were related orally for centuries in ancient Greek culture.

This is one of a series of unique sculptures named after the Ananke Group, a collection of moons that orbit Jupiter that came to being from a meteor strike.
